In the year 2022 US citizens may be eligible to receive payment of $1400 including their tax refund of 2022, as long as they have a child who was born in the year 2021  or the people who have a new dependent on them. These steps are taken are the part of the American Rescue Plan.

Do we get another stimulus payment?

People Who had children in 2022 but already had their full payment come in will be able to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit when they file their next tax return.


If for some reason you were not able to receive the amount you were expecting by the end of December 2021, you can still claim back your money when you pay taxes in the upcoming year 2022.


If you calculated your Economic Impact Payments of 2020 or 2019 returns, then any of the eligible dependents who became a family member in 2021 will not be included in the payment.

Which State be giving stimulus checks?

According to the US government, each and every state will receive a Federal  Budget to use these funds, but it will only be depended on the state’s that how it wants to spend it.

Who Qualify for Recovery Rebate Credit?

If you qualify for the Recovery Rebate Credit then you will be able to claim it on your 2021 tax return.


If you also qualify for American Rescue Plan you will be able to get credit as included in the 2021 refund.

To qualify for Recovery Rebate Credit you need to have dependents under the age of 19 at the end of the year unless they are students, or permanently disabled ( Any Age ).


Also dependent need to be either a child, brother, sister, foster child, stepbrother, stepsister, half-brother or half-sister, or a descendent of any of them.


What are the income requirements to receive Recovery Rebate Credit?

All taxpayers will receive the full amount if their total adjustable gross income is under $75,000, or a combined income of $150,000  if married and wants to file together.
