If you met all the requirements mentioned above you could get up to $1800 for every kid aged under 5 and up to $1500 for every kid aged between 6 to 17.

If you have a baby in December or adopt one then you will be eligible for up to $3600 of child tax credit for that child when you file your taxes in the year 2022.
This will also include your back pay from July to December in advance payments coming in with a refund.
